In Your Team, On Your Side
In Your Team is an independent Business and IT Management Consultancy led by John Doughty.
John has worked with the public and social housing sectors for over 35 years, in leadership, executive and consultancy practitioner roles. From the outset, John has always understood the role of technology in driving business value, but is an advocate of ensuring that other important factors are considered (customers, processes, organisational factors and information / data) before making any technology decisions.
Independence is important to us, so we don't have any technology practices that are aligned to a specific supplier and we don't sell any products and services on behalf of other organisations.
We recognise that all organisations are different. Even though they are largely doing the same things and required to deliver the same outcomes, we know that organisations may want to do things differently and perhaps better than others. We have "blue peter" requirements documents but we do not use those to prescribe requirements to our clients.
Building good relationships is important to us and we prefer to work as part of your team rather than being viewed as just an independent consultancy.
We do not take on work if we are in any way concerned about our ability to add value. That said, we have access to a network of trusted associated that we can bring in where necessary.
